2Connect’s data center solutions provide a reliable, secure, and scalable operational environment for our enterprise and service provider partners. Our facilities, available at multiple geographic locations, guarantee high availability and operational stability, with one of our Budapest data centers holding a prestigious TIER III certification. Our data center capabilities cover a total of 12 geographically diverse sites, both in Budapest and across the country.
Our services include colocation in private or shared customer areas, with customised layouts available on request. Clients have access to dedicated racks, secure cages, and 24/7 operational support, with more than 4,000 m² of total data center floor space. Designed to meet the requirements of mission-critical IT systems, our data center services ensure high availability, scalability, and a secure operating environment.
Our infrastructure is complemented by redundant power supply, advanced climate control, and excellent network connectivity options.
In addition to our standard portfolio, we also provide a wide range of integrated telecommunications and IT services. 2Connect holds unique data center expertise with state-of-the-art facilities and capabilities, and we are open to developing new products and tailored solutions in line with our customers’ specific requirements.
Colocation
2Connect’s data center colocation service provides a high-availability, secure, and scalable environment for our partners’ own equipment or for devices hosted on behalf of their end customers. All systems are housed in a guaranteed-quality, protected environment. Our data center infrastructure — with optional TIER III certification — features redundant power and cooling systems, continuous 24/7 monitoring, and strict access control to ensure uninterrupted operation.
The colocation service is available in flexible configurations: from dedicated racks to secure cages or private suites, tailored to specific needs and operational requirements. In addition to physical security, we place strong emphasis on the operating environment — including climate control, fire protection, and intrusion detection.
Our data center capabilities cover 12 geographically separate sites across Hungary, in both Budapest and regional cities, with three locations offering open colocation services in geo-redundant configurations. 2Connect’s expert team supports customers throughout the entire commissioning process, from planning to handover.
We also offer both basic and advanced remote hands support, available 24/7. At the basic level, on-site technicians perform visual inspections, ping tests, and, on request, start, shut down, or reboot equipment — strictly following the customer’s instructions. The advanced level, provided under the IMAC (Implement, Move, Add, Change) service, includes hardware interventions such as component replacement or equipment installation. This ensures that our partners can maintain the security and operability of their systems even when they are not physically present in the data center.
Data Center Connectivity
2Connect’s data center connectivity services are the ideal complement to systems hosted in a colocation environment. Through VLAN connections, dedicated DC Internet access, and pre-cabling solutions, we ensure fast, reliable, and high-availability data communications — whether for internal connections within the facility or for external network links.
- VLAN Service — Provides a logically separated, flexibly configurable data connection between customer systems and various service points. It enables the efficient segregation of multi-endpoint internal traffic without the need for separate physical cabling for each connection.
- DC Internet — Delivers direct internet connectivity for systems hosted in the data center, with high bandwidth, low latency, and guaranteed availability. Access via 2Connect’s backbone network ensures fast and stable data transmission to domestic and international internet exchange (peering) points.
- Pre-Cabling Service — Offers pre-installed, structured optical and copper connections between racks, significantly accelerating the deployment of new equipment, reducing the risk of human error, and making the data center infrastructure more transparent.
These supplementary services not only support technological operations but also contribute to the simplification, reliability, and scalability of data center management.
