Dark Fibre
2Connect’s dark fibre solution gives our partners full control over their network and equipment, enabling maximum flexibility and the ability to design and operate network data transmission entirely according to their own requirements. Customers can use dedicated optical fibres across 2Connect’s nationwide network with their own active equipment, creating a customised, secure, and future-proof setup with unlimited bandwidth.
Dark fibre is an ideal choice for service providers, data center operators, and large enterprises that want to design their network architecture entirely without compromise. Transmission speed, protocol selection, and encryption methods are fully at the customer’s discretion.
The service is built on a nationwide, redundant optical network, enabling fast deployment, stable operation, and easy scalability. POP locations are available all along the fibre routes, and fibres can be provided in single or dual-route configurations, with access through POP locations as required.
This solution offers not only network capacity but also strategic independence for partners who want to keep their data transmission fully under their own control — with exceptional bandwidth, security, and operational freedom at their disposal.
WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing)
2Connect’s Managed Wavelength service is a wholesale private circuit solution built on our extensive DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing) network, delivering reliable, ultra-low-latency transmission for any type of data. As a managed alternative to dark fibre, it eliminates the need for customers to operate their own optical equipment, while still providing dedicated, high-capacity connectivity.
The service is managed end-to-end by 2Connect, ensuring seamless operation, proactive monitoring, and the highest achievable availability. An optional ring architecture further enhances resilience for mission-critical applications.

Wavelength Service (Lambda)

2Connect’s wavelength-based data transmission service provides dedicated optical transport built on our WDM infrastructure, allowing customers to reserve an individual light wavelength.
Through Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) technology, multiple data streams can run in parallel over a single optical fibre, each using different light wavelengths — effectively the “colours” of laser light. This significantly increases network transmission capacity without the need to lay new fibres. Each wavelength functions as a neutral, logically isolated channel, making it ideal for high-bandwidth, mission-critical applications or carrier backhaul systems.
This solution is particularly advantageous for partners that need to transfer large volumes of data quickly, predictably, and in isolation — such as between data center, for content providers, or in the financial sector. The wavelength service provides its own physical layer, fully segregated from other network traffic, offering not only speed and capacity but also a highly cost-effective, controlled data transmission environment directly over the optical infrastructure.
2Connect’s custom-designed wavelength solutions can deliver guaranteed performance over distances of several hundred kilometres. Service implementation and configuration are supported by full engineering assistance, from project preparation through to operation.
Infrastructure Leasing
2Connect’s infrastructure leasing services allow our partners to access key elements of our domestic optical, microwave, and physical telecommunications infrastructure through flexible arrangements tailored to their needs.
The service covers telecom poles, antenna towers, cable ducts, manholes, outdoor and indoor facilities, as well as other passive network elements — including underground structures and break facilities. This is particularly advantageous for electronic communications service providers planning nationwide network expansion and technology upgrades without building their own infrastructure, or for those seeking to densify their 5G mobile base station networks.
With extensive geographical coverage, documented technical specifications, fast-access processes, and competitive short-, medium-, or long-term (IRU) transparent leasing options, 2Connect supports its customers’ projects from planning to commissioning.
